ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY CLOSED SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Economic Development Authority conducted a Closed Session on Thursday, <br />September 12, 2019, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: Chairperson Jim Steffen <br />Member Brian Burandt <br />Member Richard Cords <br />Member Glen Hardin <br />Member Mark Kuzma <br />Member Chris Riley <br /> <br />Members Absent: Member Shang Berg <br /> <br />Also Present: Sean Sullivan, Economic Development Manager <br /> Tim Gladhill, Community Development Director <br /> Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Steffen called the Closed Session of the Economic Development Authority to order <br />at 7:35 a.m. <br /> <br />2. EDA BUSINESS <br /> <br />th <br />2.01: Respond to Property Owner Request to Consider Purchase of 8100 146 Avenue <br /> NW (Portions of meeting may be closed to the public under Minnesota Statutes <br /> Section 13.D.05 Subdivision 3(c)(3) to consider purchase of real property) <br /> <br />Economic Development Manager Sullivan presented the staff report and asked for input on <br />th <br />whether the EDA would like to consider entering into negotiations for the purchase of 8100 146 <br />Avenue NW. <br /> <br />Chairperson Steffen asked if the resident currently runs a trucking business off the property. <br /> <br />Economic Development Manager Sullivan confirmed that the resident previously ran a trucking <br />business off the property but no longer does. He noted that a portion of the property could <br />possibly be used for stormwater treatment. He noted that the parcel is also along Armstrong <br />Boulevard and is visible coming into the community. <br /> <br />Member Hardin asked if the purchase would include the entire parcel, including the piece to the <br />north. <br />Closed Session Meeting/ September 12, 2019 <br />Page 1 of 3 <br /> <br />
