FINDINGS OF FACT <br />1. The City inspected the property on: <br />a. August 8, 2019; and <br />b. August 27, 2019; and <br />c. October 1, 2019. <br />2. The City sent formal notices via US Mail on: <br />a. August 8, 2019 for the reduction in the number of motor vehicles and items being <br />stored outside to the City Code limit of eight (8), that all vehicles be parked on an <br />improved surface, and that no more than one (1) inoperable vehicles were allowed on <br />the property. <br />3. The City corresponded with the applicant via phone on August 22, 2019 and in person at the <br />inspection on August 27, 2019 outlining outstanding violation issues and expectations going <br />forward including a timeline for compliance of which the property owner was agreeable. <br />4. The City sent correspondence via US Mail on: <br />a. August 30, 2019 thanking the property owner for allowing Staff to inspect the <br />property and laying out next steps. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby grants approval of the proposed code enforcement action plan <br />on the Subject Property as outlined below, contingent upon verification of any violation(s) of City <br />Code: <br />1. All items to be removed are catalogued in Exhibit A. <br />2. By Friday, November 15, 2019 the property owner will have removed or relocated to an <br />allowed location all items from the Subject Property that are catalogued in Exhibit A. <br />Additionally, all smaller items such as stored debris (pallets, gas canisters, construction <br />materials, etc.) shall be removed from the Subject Property. <br />3. By Friday, November 22, 2019 the Property Owner will have set up a final inspection date <br />with City Staff to ensure the Subject Property is in compliance with City Code. <br />4. That future violations within twelve (12) months of the same type will result in financial <br />penalties and quicker escalation of violation notices. <br />5. That the City Council reserves the right to escalate future violations directly to District Court <br />for Temporary Restraining Order. <br />RESOLUTION #19-211 <br />Page 2 of 5 <br />
