Anoka County <br />MINNESOTA <br />Respectful, Innovative, Fiscally Responsible <br />• City of Oak Grove <br />• City of Ramsey <br />• City of St. Francis <br />• City of Spring Lake Park <br />Anoka County 2019 <br />Multi -Jurisdictional <br />All Hazards Mitigation Plan <br />7o satisfy nfiulti-jurisdictional participation requirements, each of the local jurisdictions was <br />required to perform the following tasks: <br />• Designate appropriate officials from each jurisdiction to serve as the designated <br />representative for mitigation planning; <br />• Participate in all mitigation planning meetings and workshops; <br />• Provide best available data for the risk assessment portion of the Plan; <br />• Complete the Capability Assessment Survey and provide copies of any mitigation <br />or hazard -related documents for review and incorporation into the Plan; <br />• Support the development of a countywide mitigation strategy, including the <br />design and adoption of general goal statements for all jurisdictions to pursue; <br />• Develop a Mitigation Action Plan with specific mitigation actions for its <br />jurisdiction; <br />• Review and provide timely comments on all draft components of the Plan; <br />• Adopt the Anoka County Multi -Jurisdictional, All Hazards Mitigation Plan, <br />including its specific local Mitigation Action Plan. <br />Through the completion of these tasks, each municipality will have fully participated with Anoka <br />County in the development of this Plan. <br />2.8 Review and Incorporation of Existing Plansl <br />An important aspect of the planning process involved the <br />review of existing federal, state, and local plans, studies, <br />reports, and technical information, as well as the <br />ordinances, regulations, and resolutions of each <br />jurisdiction for incorporation into the Anoka County <br />Hazard Mitigation Plan. Plans and documents reviewed by various members of the committee <br />as pertinent to assigned tasks include: <br />E. Does the planning process <br />describe the review and <br />incorporation, if appropriate, of <br />existing plans, studies, reports, and <br />technical information? <br />• Jurisdictional ordinances, regulations, and resolutions <br />Each Jurisdiction reviewed their documents to ensure that all changes and <br />updates were included in the 2019 update <br />• Anoka County Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) <br />The Anoka County EOP was updated in 2011 from Annexes to Emergency <br />Support Functions. The EOP was reviewed to insure consistency between <br />the EOP and the Countywide Hazard Mitigation Plan <br />• Anoka County Public Health All Hazards Emergency Response and Recovery <br />Plan <br />• Anoka County Schools Emergency Response/Crisis Management Plan <br />• SARA Title II facilities reporting documents and site emergency plans <br />These reports were reviewed for any updates and changes and used to <br />create maps for the location of SARA Title II Facilities. <br />• State of Minnesota Hazard Mitigation Plan <br />24 <br />Commented [RK21]: Updated for 2019 <br />Commented [RK22]: Include links to document in <br />sharepoint <br />
