Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #20-029 <br />RESOLUTION DENYING APPLICATION FROM YING CHEN FOR <br />ESTABLISHMENT LICENSE FOR CHEN MASSAGE AND DENYING APPLICATION <br />FROM YING CHEN FOR A THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE THERAPIST LICENSE <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey, herein referred to as the "City," has received an <br />Application from YING CHEN for a Massage Establishment License and a Massage Therapist <br />License; and <br />WHEREAS, the City's Police Chief has conducted a background check and recommends <br />denial of both licenses. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the City Council denies the application for a Massage Establishment License for <br />CHEN MASSAGE. <br />2) That the City Council denies the application for a Massage Therapist License for YING <br />CHEN. <br />That the motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Where upon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this 28th day of January, 2020. <br />Mayor <br />
