In addition, the City received a federal grant of $2.5 million to look at the Thurston on/off ramp <br />and $1 million tbra bridge across the Mississippi River. Highway #10 has been mapped and <br />properties purchased to make it a feasible corridor. Councilmember Elvig stated the Council has <br />been extremely aggressive and successful in looking at highway corridors. <br /> <br />Mr. Buct Augst, 15700 Traprock Street, asked Councilmember Cook to define the ordinance on <br />transition buffer zones between one area and a new developing area. <br /> <br />Attorney Goodrich stated the Council is under no obligation to answer a question like this and <br /> Council is to receive resident comments at this time. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamcc explained it is up to the City Council to consider several different options. He asked if the build <br />out coulcl occur towards the north so the abutting areas are developed last instead of first. <br /> <br />Mr. t'ctcrson stated hc is being asked to hold certain lots for future phases.
