Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-04- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # TO REZONE CERTAIN <br />PROPERTY FROM R-2 MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO PUD - PLANNED <br />UNIT DEVELOPMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on March 1, 2005, the City received an application to rezone certain <br />property in accordance with Section 9.03.03 of the Ramsey City Code.' <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMS EY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That Brightkeys, Inc, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant," has properly applied to <br />rezone certain property from R-2 Medium Density Residential to PUD - Planned Unit <br />Development. " <br /> <br />That the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.03 of <br />the City Code on March 3, 2005 and said public hearing was properly advertised, and the <br />minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated by reference. <br /> <br />3. That the property proposed to be rezoned is legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Outlot A, Town Center Gardens, Anoka County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />And <br /> <br />Portions of Outlot C, Town Center Gardens, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />And <br /> <br />Lot 2, Block 1, Town Center North, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />4.. That the area of the property to be rezoned is approximately 25 acres in size. <br /> <br />5. That the Subject Property is currently zoned R-2 Medium Density Residential and is <br /> located within the boundaries of the current Metropolitan Urban Service Area (MUSA). <br /> <br />6. That the Comprehensive Plan designates the property for Medium Density ReSidential <br /> development. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />That the Rezoning Request will allow for a combination of townhomes and single-family <br />lots on the Subject Property, as well as deviations from single-family lot standards and <br />setbacks as required in the R-1 District. <br /> <br /> <br />
