Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #05-04- A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM R-2 MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO PUD - PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT WHEREAS, on March 1, 2005, the City received an application to rezone certain property in accordance with Section 9.03.03 of the Ramsey City Code.' NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMS EY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: That Brightkeys, Inc, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant," has properly applied to rezone certain property from R-2 Medium Density Residential to PUD - Planned Unit Development. " That the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.03 of the City Code on March 3, 2005 and said public hearing was properly advertised, and the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated by reference. 3. That the property proposed to be rezoned is legally described as follows: Outlot A, Town Center Gardens, Anoka County, Minnesota. And Portions of Outlot C, Town Center Gardens, Anoka County, Minnesota And Lot 2, Block 1, Town Center North, Anoka County, Minnesota 4.. That the area of the property to be rezoned is approximately 25 acres in size. 5. That the Subject Property is currently zoned R-2 Medium Density Residential and is located within the boundaries of the current Metropolitan Urban Service Area (MUSA). 6. That the Comprehensive Plan designates the property for Medium Density ReSidential development. 7. That the Rezoning Request will allow for a combination of townhomes and single-family lots on the Subject Property, as well as deviations from single-family lot standards and setbacks as required in the R-1 District.
