Cotmcilmembcr introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #05-04-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A CHANGE ORDER PAYMENT FOR ELMCREST <br />PARK <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the city council authorized construction of Elmcrest Park in 2004; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, some trails were to be constructed over soft ground; and the master trail <br />plan proposes fltture construction of trails over similar ground; and a material supplier provided <br />material to construct a test section using light weight fill for evaluation of suitability; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the request for change order was approved by the Public Works Committee <br />at thc March 15, 2005 meeting; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, funding for the construction will come from the Park Dedication Fund. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br /> Thc City Council authorizes a payment to Dryden Excavationg, Inc. in the amount of <br /> $1(},382.00 for construction of trail pavement test sections in Elmcrest Park. <br /> <br />Thc motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />..... and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and thc ['ollowing voted against the same: <br />amt the £ollowing abstained: <br />and thc lbllowing were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this 12th day of April, 2005. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />(:ity Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
