legislation that was put forward to the legislative session from the Highway 10 Coalition was <br /> agreed upon the previous week in the amount of $47,000,000. He noted that funding would <br /> assist with right-of-way purchases and the development of further designed plans. He stated that <br /> he is pleased with the progress that has been made, noting that the request has been very well <br /> received at the legislature. He anticipated that there will be hearings and noted that he will work <br /> with staff to ensure that everyone is aware and able to be prepared. He stated that there has been <br /> a leadership change in the Senate, and he was able to meet with the new leader, who was very <br /> supportive of seeing this move forward this year. He stated that all of the indicators point in a <br /> good direction and he will remain diligent as this continues to move forward. <br /> Councilmember Musgrove stated that it was great to hear the update and that things are moving <br /> forward. <br /> Mr. Tinklenberg stated that there are also a number of federal grant opportunities that are now <br /> open and advised that the City is moving forward on those as well. <br /> 4. APPROVE AGENDA <br /> Councilmember Musgrove requested to pull item 5.11 from the Consent Agenda to be discussed <br /> on the regular agenda. <br /> Motion by Councilmember Musgrove, seconded by Councilmember Heinrich, to approve the <br /> agenda as amended. <br /> Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor LeTourneau, Councilmembers Musgrove, Heinrich, <br /> Kuzma, Menth, Musgrove, Riley, and Specht. Voting No: None. <br /> 5.
