r <br />4 <br />• <br />RECEIVED <br />MAR 0 1 2001 <br />LAY: <br />1546891 <br />C -3.„1•as ' 4,., <br />Councilmember Connolly introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #00 -11 -307 <br />1: <br />JAN 2 2?poi <br />BY: - —_ <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />FOR A HOME OCCUPATION BASED ON FINDINGS OF FACT #0540 AND <br />DECLARING TERMS OF PERMIT FOR A MASSAGE THERAPY IN THE SINGLE <br />FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #00 -11 -306 adopting <br />Findings of Fact #0540 for this use and herein approves the Conditional Use Permit for a Home <br />Occupation subject to the following conditions. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />On November 28, 2000, a Conditional Use Permit ( "Permit ") was issued by the City of Ramsey <br />( "City ") to Cathleen Artman ( "Permit Holder ") for a home occupation to establish a massage <br />therapy in the dwelling on the property generally known as 14651 Neon Street NW and legally <br />described as follows: <br />Lot 10, Block 5, Chestnut Ridge 2 Anoka County, Minnesota <br />(" Subject Property") <br />This permit is issued pursuant to Section 9.03.04 and 9.11.04 of the Ramsey City Code. The <br />conditions of this permit are as follows: <br />1. That this resolution shall allow for the establishment and operation of a massage therapy <br />service on the Subject Property. <br />2. This Permit is perpetual in its duration as long as the terms imposed herein are complied <br />with, however, the applicant has agreed that the permit will expire upon ceasing the use <br />of the property for primary residence. <br />3. The area devoted to the home occupation shall not exceed twenty percent (20 %) of the <br />total floor area of the private dwelling. <br />4. That the Permittee will not operate an adult use massage parlor that is defined as follows <br />• in City Code: "A massage parlor or health club which restricts minors by reason of age, <br />and which provides the services of massage, if such service is distinguished or <br />
