Chairperson Johns asked if this is being built with the intention to expand it when water comes <br /> throttgh. <br /> <br /> Commissioner Shryock stated with the new developments coming in, there is the possibility of <br /> getting water m~d sewer run up further than the park. She wondered if anyone knew when this <br /> could happen. <br /> <br /> Fire Chief Kapler stated it would probably be done over a number of years. <br /> <br /> Pt~rks/Utilities Supervisor Riverblood stated the greatest expense would be to run the water and <br /> sewer fi'om a point significantly to the east to the park. <br /> <br /> Commissioner Pontius asked if the tables would be fixed to the ground. <br /> <br /> Corn missioner Shryock asked what the current setback fi.om the parking lot is. <br /> <br /> Parks/Utilities Supervisor Riverblood stated it was around thirty-five feet. <br /> <br /> Chairperson Johns stated she liked the concept and it is desperately needed out there and she <br /> thought it was very nice of the Lions to do this for the City. <br /> <br /> It was uoted the overall maintenance of the building will need to be taken care of by the City, <br /> <br /> Commissioner Shryock stated her only concern was how close the concession area will be to the <br /> parking lot for safety reasons. <br /> <br />Commissioner Shryock stated they are trying to theme their parks so if the Lions wanted to do <br />more shelters for other parks, they should keep this in mind. . <br /> <br />Chairperson Jotms asked what kind of timing this will be done. <br /> <br />Thc ILions thought they could break ground in June and be finished in the fall. <br /> <br />Case #3: Consider Park and Trail Dedication for Ramsey Meadows 5th Addition <br /> <br />Civil Engineer II Linton stated TMH Development has submitted the preliminary plat for <br />Ramsey Meadows 5th Addition. They plan to create 7 single family urban lots. The lots will <br />fi'ont on 149th Lane. This development is dividing 1 metes and bounds parcel to create the 7 lots. <br />This t~roject is in the Prairie recreation district.
