• Councilmember Hendriksen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #00- 09 -258A A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDING OF FACT #0532 RELATING TO A REQUEST FROM REBECCA WISSLER FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR A HOME OCCUPATION FOR A HAIR AND TANNING SALONG LOCATED AT 6614 153rd LANE NW. WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey received an application from Rebecca Wissler for a conditional use permit for a home occupation to operate a hair and tanning salon within the dwelling on the property generally known as 6614 153rd Lane NW and legally described as follows: All that part of the south half of the northeast quarter of Section 22, Township 32 Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota described as follows commencing at a point on the south line of said south half of northeast quarter a distance of 1533.76 feet west from the southeast corner of said south half of northeast quarter thence west along said line a distance of 135.0 feet thence north at right angles to said south line a distance of 323.0 feet thence east and parallel with said south line a distance of 135.0 feet thence south at right angles to last course a distance of 323.0 feet to the point of commencement (subject to easement of record). (the "Subject Property ") NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA that the findings of fact relating to the request are determined to be as follows: 1. That on August 15, 2000, Rebecca Wissler, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant ", properly applied for a conditional use permit for a home occupation to establish and operate a hair and tanning salon in her home. 2. That the Applicant appeared before the Ramsey Planning Commission for a public hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.04 of the City Code on September 5, 2000, and that said public hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated as a part of these findings by reference. 3. That the Subject Property is zoned R -1 Rural Residential. 4. That the Subject Property is approximately .7 acres in size. 5. That beauty salons are not a permitted use in the R -1 Rural Residential District.
