Partnerships may be with schools, other recreation <br />agencies, or private businesses. However, for any partnership <br />to be successful, both parties must receive equal value in the <br />exchange. <br />In a study done by the University of Minnesota Resilient <br />Communities Project, it found the City of Ramsey may benefit <br />by partnerships and collaboration with governmental <br />agencies, non-profit organizations and businesses in the <br />region for greater effectiveness and efficiency in programming <br />and communication. Recommends to increase and enhance <br />regional collaboration and partnerships include: <br />• Initiate a regional online newsletter <br />• Partner with local and regional business owners to <br />coordinate promotion and outreach to residents <br />• Establish a regional volunteer council for outreach efforts <br />Partnerships are a valuable asset to recreation programming <br />and well-being of residents.
