• <br />• <br />• <br />WHEREAS, the City Council met on April 25, 2000, and tabled preliminary plat <br />approval so that there could be further discussions on the density of the southerly portion of the <br />development at a City Council work session; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Bulow attended a City Council work session on May 2, 2000 where the <br />consensus was to eliminate the apartment outlot and develop the entire property with <br />townhomes; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Bulow informed the Planning Commission on May 3, 2000 of the <br />change from apartment complexes to the lower density all townhome development, and the <br />Planning Commission was in favor of this change; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Bulow submitted revised Preliminary Plats and Site plans that <br />proposed to replace the apartment complex with quad - townhome units; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council met on May 23, 2000 and granted Preliminary Plat <br />approval for Mallard Ponds; and <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby grants final plat approval to Mallard Ponds in <br />accordance with relevant City Codes, contingent upon the Developer entering into a Planned <br />Unit Development and Subdivision Agreement with the City. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Connolly, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Hendriksen <br />Councilmember Connolly <br />Councilmember Anderson <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />and the following were absent: <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />RESOLUTION #00 -06 -150 <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />
