Councilmember Hendriksen moved for the adoption of the following resolution: <br />RESOLUTION #00 -05 -130 <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #0523 RELATING TO A <br />REQUEST FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO OPERATE A WOODWORKING <br />BUSINESS IN A RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT. <br />WHEREAS, Chris Barrett, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant ", has properly applied for a <br />Conditional Use Permit Amendment to operate a woodworking business in a residential district <br />on the property legally described as follows: <br />That part of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 6, <br />Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota. <br />That part of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 6, <br />Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, lying west of the West line of <br />the East 930.00 feet, as measured at right angles, thereof. Containing 11.82 acres, <br />more of less. Subject to easements of record. Subject to that part taken for <br />County Road No. 64 over and across the North 33.00 feet thereof. <br />(the "Subject Property "). <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1. That the Applicant appeared before the Planning Commission for a public hearing pursuant <br />to Section 9.03.04 of the Ramsey City Code on May 2, 2000, and that said public hearing <br />was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated <br />by reference. <br />2. That the subject property is located in a R -1R, Single Family Residential Rural District and <br />is approximately eleven (11) acres in size. <br />3. That the surrounding parcels are zoned R -1R, Single Family Rural Residential, and <br />Agricultural Residential in Burns Township. <br />4. That in 1975 a building permit was issued to Mr. Menard for the construction of an <br />accessory structure on the adjoining property and there was no permit issued for the subject <br />property. <br />5. That Mr. Menard proposed to relocate his current commercial business from the accessory <br />structure located at 8940 181 Ave. to his homestead at 8900 181 Ave and sell the Subject <br />Property. <br />
