Councilmember Connolly introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #00 -05 -129 <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #0522 TO REZONE CERTAIN <br />PROPERTY FROM B -1 AND B -2 BUSINESS TO PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT <br />WHEREAS, the City received an application to rezone certain property in accordance <br />with Section 9.03.03 of the Ramsey City Code. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1. That Chris Bulow and Linda Bulow of Bulow Incorporated, hereinafter referred to as <br />"Applicants," have properly applied to rezone certain property from B -1 and B -2 Business <br />to Planned Unit Development. <br />2. That the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.03 of <br />the City Code on March 6, 2000 and March 20, 2000 and said public hearing was properly <br />advertised, and the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated by reference. <br />3. That the property proposed to be rezoned is legally described as follows: <br />Outlot 1, Flintwood Hills 2n Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota and that part of <br />the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 38, Township 32, Range <br />25, Anoka County, Minnesota, lying Northerly of Anoka County Highway Right <br />of Way Plat No. 36, and lying Westerly of the following described line: <br />Commencing at the Northeast corner of said Northwest Quarter; thence South <br />along the East line of said Northwest Quarter a distance of 936.25 feet to the <br />centerline of a town road; thence Northwesterly, deflecting right 95 degrees 41 <br />minutes, a distance of 604.08 feet; thence North parallel with said East line of the <br />Northwest Quarter, a distance of 37.72 feet to the Northerly right of way line of <br />Parcel 2, said Anoka County Highway Right -of -way Plat No. 36, said point is <br />hereinafter referred to as Point A; thence continue North parallel with said East <br />line of the Northwest Quarter, a distance of 826.13 feet to the north line of the said <br />Northwest Quarter; thence East along the said North line a distance of 319.98 feet <br />to the point of Beginning of the line to be described; thence Southwesterly, a <br />distance of 886.97 feet to Point A and there terminating. <br />4. That the total area of the property to be rezoned is 16.75 acres in size. <br />5. That the proposed rezoning is located within the Metropolitan Urban Service Area (MUSA) <br />boundary. <br />
