This hump causes a sight restriction to and from the
167m Avenue intersection. A 300-foot long section of TH 47 will need to be reconstructed to
remove this hump.
12) At County Road 66 (Reference Point 28+00.204), Metro Traffic recommended adding turn-lanes.
Turn-lanes will not be added to this intersection as part of this project due to the lack of
fight-of-way needed to construct the turn-lanes. ·
13) At Vega Drive (Reference Point 28+00.497), Metro Traffic recommended adding mm-lanes.
Turn-lanes will not be added to this intersection as part of this project due to the lack of
right-of-way needed to construct the mm-lanes.
14) At 222® Avenue (Reference Point 33+00.164), Metro Traffic recommended adding mm-lanes.
Turn-lanes will not be added to this intersection as part of this project due to the lack of
right-of-way needed to construct the turn-lanes.
15) At Cree Avenue (Reference Point 33+00.2), the City of Saint Francis has requested that mm-lanes
be constructed for a new development north of'IH 47 (see Figure 6 on page viii). Left and fight tumlane to Cree Avenue and the St. Francis
Auto Parts, Inc. are planed as part of this project. Right-of-way is limited on the south side of'IH .
47, along St. Francis Auto Parts, Inc. If MnDOT's right-of-way is not wide enough to construct
right mm-lanes on the south side of TH 47 at this location, the right mm-lanes to St. Francis Auto
Parts, Inc. will not be constructed as part of this project.
16) At 229m Avenue (Reference Point 34+00.576), the City of Saint Francis has requested that turn-
lanes be constructed for the new development mentioned in Item 15), above. TH 47 is a four-lane
rural divided roadway at 229th Avenue. A northbound left: turnlane will be constructed in the
median area, and a southbound right turn lane will be constructed on the existing shoulder.

Micellaneous Improvements
17) 106 mailboxes and mailbox supports not meeting Mn/DOT standards have been identified north of
Alpine Drive.
