Bridge Rehabilitation/Replacement <br />Definition: A bridge rehabilitation or replacement project located on a non -freeway principal arterial or <br />A -minor arterial functionally classified roadway, consistent with the latest TAB -approved functional <br />classification map. Bridge structures that have a separate span for each direction of travel can apply for <br />both spans as part of one application. <br />The bridge must carry vehicular traffic but may also include accommodations for other modes. Bridges <br />that are exclusively for bicycle or pedestrian traffic must apply under one of the Bicycle and Pedestrian <br />Facilities application categories. Rail -only bridges are not eligible for funding.
