City of Ramsey - Class Specification Bulletin Page 1 of 3 <br />Seasonal <br />Worker <br />Bargaining Unit: None <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />Established Date: Mar 1, 2017 <br />Revision Date: Mar 5, 2020 <br />SALARY RANGE <br />$11.00 - $12.00 Hourly <br />PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION: <br />Class Code: <br />16014 <br />To provide general maintenance of streets, park grounds, trails, buildings, and related <br />facilities and equipment through the spring, summer, and possibly fall months. This <br />also includes mowing and trimming; pruning and planting trees or working on landscape <br />projects; maintaining athletic fields; picking up trash; street maintenance; and utilities <br />maintenance. <br />This is a temporary non -union position working forty (40) hours per week, Monday - <br />Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., beginning in April or May and running through the <br />Fall months. There is no guaranty of further employment after the season has <br />concluded. <br />MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: <br />• Must be at least 18 years old <br />• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) <br />• Must have valid MN driver's license with a good driving record <br />• Must have the ability to work independently with limited supervision <br />• Must have the ability to work in a variety of weather conditions including cold or <br />hot temperatures, high humidity, wind, or rain <br />• Must have the ability to finish work in a timely and efficient manner <br />• Must have the ability to get along with others including supervisors and coworkers <br />Desired Qualifications include: <br />https:l/agency.governmentjobs.comlcityoframsey/default.cfm?action=specbulletin&ClassSp... 3/5/2020 <br />
