Com~cihnember <br /> <br />RESOI.UTION <br />Si DIN(; OF THE METAL STRUCTURE AT THE PUBLIC WORKS CAMPUS <br /> <br />__ introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION #05-04-XXX <br /> <br /> RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE RE- <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council authorized the preparation of plans <br />spe¢ifications lot' the above referenced work; and <br /> <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council approved the plans and specifications and the <br />advertisement tbr bids for the above-referenced work; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the RE-SIDING OF METAL <br />STRUCTURE bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law on April 14, 2005; <br />and <br /> <br />WIIEREAS, thc following bids were received for the Re-siding of metal structure <br /> <br />Bidder Amount of Bid <br /> <br />Structtn-al Buildings <br />l~;bcrt Construction <br />Enconnn Midwest <br />Triton Construction <br />Interstate Roofing <br /> <br />$163,063.00 <br />$174,700.00 <br />$202,202.00 <br />$207,491.00 <br />$264,844.00 <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, Structural Buildings is the lowest responsible bidder. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />I) <br /> <br />That thc Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with Structural Buildings in the name of the City of Ramsey for the re-siding of <br />the metal structure in the amount of $163,063.00 <br /> <br />Thc motion flor tiao adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and tlpon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and lhc [bllowing voted against the same: <br /> <br />thc fbllowing abstained: <br />thc fbllowing were absent: <br /> <br /> <br />
