the City’s declaration. Fire Chief Kohner stated that Anoka County has termed its extension indefinitely. He stated that the City Council would make the decision on when to end the declaration of emergency. City Administrator Ulrich provided a suggestion for the language to state that the declaration would remain in place until lifted by resolution of the City Council. Motion by Councilmember Musgrove, seconded by Councilmember Kuzma, to accept the amendment and Adopt Resolution #20-076 Extending the Declaration of Emergency for the City of Ramsey, Minnesota, Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) as follows: 1.Under the authority given by Minnesota Statutes, Section 12.29, declares that the local emergency previously ratified on March 19, 2020 within the City of Ramsey, effective until April 14, 2020, to be extended to remain in place until lifted by resolution of the City Council, extended pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 12.29, Subd. 1. 2.Directs the City Manager and Emergency Management Director to continue to coordinate such actions and request such local, state and/or federal assistance as needed to protect the lives and public and private property in the City of Ramsey and the recovery of the City from impacts of this situation to the extent practicable and allowed by law, ordinance and resolution. 3.Orders that this declaration be given prompt and general publicity and that it be filed promptly by the City Clerk. A roll call vote was performed by the City Administrator: Mayor LeTourneau aye Councilmember Riley nay Councilmember Menth aye Councilmember Heinrich nay Councilmember Kuzma aye Councilmember Specht aye Councilmember Musgrove aye Motion carried. 7.02: Adopt Resolution #20-058 Postponing Action on Preliminary Plat Approval and Providing Direction on Density Transitioning for Garden View Villas (Project 19- 136); Case of DC Ramsey, LLC Mayor LeTourneau noted that this request was pulled from the agenda by the applicant. 7.03: Adopt Resolution #20-071 Accepting Feasibility Report and Ordering Plans and Specifications for Improvement Project #20-01, Variolite Street Reconstruction City Engineer Westby reviewed the staff report and recommendation to adopt Resolution #20- 071 accepting the Feasibility Report and ordering Plans and Specifications for Improvement Project #20-01, Variolite Street Reconstruction.
