<br />the City’s declaration. Fire Chief Kohner stated that Anoka County has termed its extension <br />indefinitely. He stated that the City Council would make the decision on when to end the <br />declaration of emergency. City Administrator Ulrich provided a suggestion for the language to <br />state that the declaration would remain in place until lifted by resolution of the City Council. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Musgrove, seconded by Councilmember Kuzma, to accept the <br />amendment and Adopt Resolution #20-076 Extending the Declaration of Emergency for the City <br />of Ramsey, Minnesota, Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) as follows: <br /> <br />1.Under the authority given by Minnesota Statutes, Section 12.29, declares that the local <br />emergency previously ratified on March 19, 2020 within the City of Ramsey, effective <br />until April 14, 2020, to be extended to remain in place until lifted by resolution of the <br />City Council, extended pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 12.29, Subd. 1. <br /> <br />2.Directs the City Manager and Emergency Management Director to continue to coordinate <br />such actions and request such local, state and/or federal assistance as needed to protect <br />the lives and public and private property in the City of Ramsey and the recovery of the <br />City from impacts of this situation to the extent practicable and allowed by law, <br />ordinance and resolution. <br /> <br />3.Orders that this declaration be given prompt and general publicity and that it be filed <br />promptly by the City Clerk. <br /> <br />A roll call vote was performed by the City Administrator: <br /> <br />Mayor LeTourneau aye <br />Councilmember Riley nay <br />Councilmember Menth aye <br />Councilmember Heinrich nay <br />Councilmember Kuzma aye <br />Councilmember Specht aye <br />Councilmember Musgrove aye <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br />7.02: Adopt Resolution #20-058 Postponing Action on Preliminary Plat Approval and <br />Providing Direction on Density Transitioning for Garden View Villas (Project 19- <br />136); Case of DC Ramsey, LLC <br /> <br />Mayor LeTourneau noted that this request was pulled from the agenda by the applicant. <br />7.03: Adopt Resolution #20-071 Accepting Feasibility Report and Ordering Plans and <br />Specifications for Improvement Project #20-01, Variolite Street Reconstruction <br /> <br />City Engineer Westby reviewed the staff report and recommendation to adopt Resolution #20- <br />071 accepting the Feasibility Report and ordering Plans and Specifications for Improvement <br />Project #20-01, Variolite Street Reconstruction. The project as proposed is feasible, necessary <br />and cost-effective from an engineering standpoint.
