Mayor Gamec replied if there is a failing system it is inspected. If there were to be any sewage <br />~llowing on the ground the City would generally receive a complaint right away. Any issues <br />should bc reported to the City and are addressed on a complaint basis. <br /> <br />Councihnember Elvig directed staff to review the area Mr. Schelkoph is speaking of. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Olson, seconded by Councilmember Strommen, to close the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Motion can'ied. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Olson, Strommen, Cook, Elvig, <br />and Pearson. Voting No: None. Absent: CouncilmemberJeffrey. <br /> <br />The public hearing was closed at 7:52 p.m. <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />No Council action required. <br /> <br />Case #5: Report from Public Works <br /> <br />Moved in the agenda to be acted on as Case No. 10A. <br /> <br />Case #6: <br /> <br />Adopt Ordinance Authorizing the Sale of Part of Lot 1 Auditor's Subdivision <br />No. 30, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich explained the City has continued negotiations with a business interested <br />in building a project on the parcel located at part of Lot 1 Auditor's Subdivision No. 30. It is <br />imperative that the City have the ability to convey this property to the business in a timely <br />manner to allow for spring construction. On February 22, 2005, the City Council introduced an <br />ordinance to authorize the sale. That ordinance is now eligible for formal adoption. <br /> <br />Councilmember Pearson asked if the details have been finalized. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich replied they have not, the details will come back for final consideration <br />by the Council. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Elvig, to adopt Ordinance No. <br />05-06 authorizing the sale of land owned by the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />A roll call was performed by the Recording Secretary: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec: aye <br />Councilmember Cook: aye <br />Councilmember Elvig: aye <br />Councilmember Jeffrey: absent <br /> <br />City Council/March 8, 2005 <br /> Page 12 of 18 <br /> <br /> <br />
