EDA BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Consider Contract Addendum for Redevelopment Study <br /> <br />The EDA had indicated interest in seeing recommendation of a frontage road system in two other <br />major areas in the redevelopment study of Highway #10. The areas are between Sunfish Lake <br />Boulevard and Anoka City limits and Ramsey Boulevard to the west. <br /> <br />Staff received an amendment to the contract with Hoisington Koegler Group, Inc. to evaluate <br />frontage road and redevelopment concepts for these two areas for a fee not to exceed $5,000. <br />The fees would be paid from the EDA fund. <br /> <br />Member Blaha inquired what the amount was in the EDA fund. <br /> <br />Mr. Norman will provide the EDA budget at the next meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by Chairperson Wagner, seconded by Member Riley, to direct Hoisington Koegler to <br />complete the Highway #10 study with frontage road and redevelopment concepts from Sunfish <br />Lake Boulevard to the City of Anoka border and west of Ramsey Boulevard. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Wagner, Members Riley, Anderson, Blaha, <br />LeToumeau and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. Absent: Member Scheiber. <br /> <br />Case #2: Revolving Loan Fund Guidelines <br /> <br />EDA members reviewed and discussed the Revolving Loan Fund Guideline document prepared <br />and presented by Economic Development Consultant Michael Mulrooney. The following <br />changes were made to the document: <br /> <br />· Section VI, A. Remove retail businesses. <br />· Section VII, D, 1 Add livable wage and change $5,000 to $25,000. <br />· Section VII, O, 3 Replace fins with final. <br />· Section VIII, F, 3 Replace table with postpone. <br />· Throughout the whole document replace Board with EDA and Community Development <br /> Department with Finance Department. <br /> <br />Motion by Member Riley, seconded by Member LeToumeau to adopt the Revolving Loan Fund <br />Guideline with corrections. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Wagner, Members Riley, LeToumeau, Anderson, <br />Blaha and Zimmerman. Voting No: None.
