Community Development Director Frolik confirmed it appears that the comp plan discussion <br />will be forwarded to the September agenda. <br /> <br />Commissioner Sweet raised the possibility of making a determination of what cases on the <br />agenda could be covered by 10:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik explained that Cases #3 and #7 were pulled from the <br />agenda. <br /> <br />Vice Chair Kociscak stated Cases #2 and #11 were moved to next month. <br /> <br />Commissioner Sweet commented that she felt it wasn't fair to citizens to discuss cases late in the <br />meeting because they may not get the full attention they deserve. <br /> <br />Commissioner Reeve pointed out that the Planning Commission has an obligation to meet <br />deadlines, and many discussions then cannot be scheduled for a meeting the next month. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Johnson, seconded by Commissioner Watson, to set a general policy <br />of finishing business at hand at 10:00 p.m., schedule a time to finish the agenda items and <br />adjourn. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Vice Chair Kociscak, Commissioners Johnson, Watson, Reeve, <br />and Sweet. Voting No: None. Absent: Chairperson Nixt. <br /> <br />A resident from the floor asked what the policy is for notifying the public if a special meeting is <br />called to finish business. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik explained that if an agenda could not be finished <br />within the allotted meeting time, then generally the Commission recesses to a pre-determined <br />date and time to finish the agenda items. City Staff would also post the reconvene date and time <br />at City Hall. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Johnson, seconded by Commissioner Watson to approve the agenda <br />with the following modifications: move Case #2 regarding Comprehensive Plan and Case #3 <br />regarding Van Norman's request for a conditional use permit for grading to the September <br />agenda, change Case # 10 regarding TSM request to rezone Outlot A of Regency Pond to medium <br />density residental to Case #2, remove case #7 regarding Bauer's request for a conditional use <br />permit for grading (application withdrawn at Applicant's request). <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Vice Chair Kociscak, Commissioners Johnson, Watson, Reeve, <br />and Sweet. Voting No: None.
