Voting No: None. <br /> <br />The public hearing closed at 7:07 p.m. <br /> <br />Board Business <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt called the Board of Adjustment meeting back to order at 7:07 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Board Member Johnson, to adopt Resolution #01-10- <br />369 adopting Findings of Fact, with variables favorable to the applicant, relating to Dan and <br />Theresa Carter's request for a variance to encroach 14.5 feet into the rear yard setback on the <br />property located at 14531 Sunfish Lake Drive NW. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Board Members Johnson, Kociscak, Reeve, <br />Sweet and Watson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Board Member Johnson to approve Dan and Theresa <br />Carter's request for a variance on the property located at 14531 Sunfish Lake Drive NW, based <br />on the findings of fact, and adopt Resolution #01-10-370 declaring terms of the variance. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #2: Request for a Variance to the Rear Yard Setback; Case of Gary Voit <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt closed the regular portion of the Board of Adjustment meeting at 7:09 p.m. in <br />order to conduct the public hearing. <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt called the public hearing to order at 7:09 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Principal Planner Trudgeon stated that Mr. Gary Voit has applied for a variance to encroach into <br />the corner side yard setback in order to construct an accessory building on his property located at <br />6198 146~h Avenue NW. Mr. Voit would like to construct a 576 square foot accessory building <br />in the rear of his lot. Coupled with his existing garage of 644 square feet, Mr. Voit will have <br />1,220 square feet of accessory buildings, which is under the maximum allowed accessory <br />structure square footage.
