Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #20-169 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING TEMPORARY FENCING AND PLAY AREA <br />FOR PACT CHARTER SCHOOL <br />WHEREAS, PACT Charter School, hereafter referred to as "Applicant", has requested approval from <br />the City for temporary fencing and a play area, as well as daily cones to support student social distancing, at the <br />property generally known as 7250 E Ramsey Pkwy, on the land legally described as <br />Lot 1, Block 1 Ramsey Town Center Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota (the `Subject Property'); and <br />WHEREAS, the Subject Property is approximately 5.34 acres in size; and <br />WHEREAS, the Applicant has requested temporary fencing to allow for a larger play area outside and to <br />ensure that items from said play are kept off Ramsey Blvd; and <br />WHEREAS, the Applicant is attempting to allow for more room for social distancing and promote safety <br />of student's wellbeing given current state of Covid-19; and <br />WHEREAS, the Applicant has proposed to put out orange safety cones at the start of each school day <br />and remove them at the end of each school day; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed and approved the requested on August 10, 2020. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1. That the Ramsey City Council hereby grants approval for the proposal with the following conditions <br />a. Approval sunsets at end of 2020-2021 school year or at end of pandemic guidance related to <br />Covid-19. <br />b. Tied to site plan seen in Exhibit A. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />
