Councitmember introduced the following resolution and'moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-05- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A METES AND BOUNDS SUBDIVISION OF TRACT C, <br />REGISTERED LAND SURVEY #119, ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Lora G. Hamilton and Winslow T. HotaSek are the fee title owners of <br />the fi>llowing legally described parcel: <br /> <br />Tract C, Registered Land Survey No. 119, files of the Registrar of Titles of Anoka <br />County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />("Subject Property") <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Edward and Lora Hamilton, husband and wife, hereafter referred to as <br />"Applicants", have properly applied for a waiver to the platting requirements in accordance with <br />Section 9.50 (Subdivision), Sub-section 9.50.07. (Filing and recording Conveyances) for the <br />purpose of creating a building site for a single family home on thd Subject Property; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Edward and Lora Hamilton currently reside at 6615 Hwy. #10 N.W.; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on April 27, 2004, the City of Ramsey adopted ordinances to officially map <br />thc Highway #10 corridor to preserve right-of-way for future road construction/expansion <br />projects; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the official mapping ordinance enables the City to access the Reuolving <br />Acquisition Loan Fund (RALF) regional funds to acquire property in .cases where it is <br />advantageous to both the property owner and the City to do so; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has utilized RALF for the acquisition of the Applicant's <br />homestead at 6615 Hwy 10 N.W.; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with the terms of the acquisition of the property at 6615 <br />Hwy. # 10 N.W., the Applicants will vacate the property and the suggested time frame is six <br />(6) months; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Subject Property is approximately 11 acres in area and the <br />Applicants are proposing to subdivide approximately 1.6 acres for a new home site; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Applicants have requested a waiver from the platting requirements <br /> corder to expedite home construction and relocate in accordance with the acquistion terms <br />fi>r 66 l 5 14wy. # 10 N.W.; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Staff has reviewed the proposed subdivision and recommended <br />City Council approval of same; and <br /> <br />-213- <br /> <br /> <br />
