Commissioner Brauer noted that looking at the City Council minutes it says they were looking at lots 24, 25 and 26 being reduce to 2 rather than 3 lots, and the same for 8, 9 and 10, and 36, 37 and .3 ~. Associate Planner Wald indicated she knows the developer looked at some of those, and part of the issue was with the drainage pattern. She added the plan the Planning Commission is seeing is a dif'ferent configuration than the one the City Council Saw, so it is hard to compare numbers.. Public ltearing C. hairperson Nixt opened the public hearing. Daw: Johnson, 15433 Potassium Street, indicated there are two accesses cOming to Potassium which crosses private property, and he owns 15 feet on the other side. Sara l'ickhardt, 15751 Potassium Street, stated there was a reference to a trail system that will connect to County Road 5, and she wonders what trail that would be. She stated regarding lots 1, 2~ and 3 in the comer, at the City Council meeting they suggested cutting the three units to two, but she still sees three there. Terry Pietro, 6140 157t~ Lane, stated he is on the northwest comer of the property, and this is the first he has heard of a trail system. - He indicated if you look at the plat map it is wetland' all the way around until you get to the north, which is his yard. He noted the cul-de-sac is sizeable, and he wonders where people will park their cars, and how fire trucks will get in when all the people are parking on the road, which they will do. . Mr. Pietro indicated his other issue is the road on the north side of his property, and now he will have a road on the south side as well. He stated he is not sure it will help his prOperty values. Mill Wyshalt, 15407 Nowthen Boulevard, indicated here again they are seeing 26 single-family homes on approximately three acres of buildable land. He stated he feels they are abusing the PUD for the contractor's benefit. He indicated if the Planning Commission lets this go through he would like a guarantee he could do the same' thing ten years down the road so he can maximize his benefits. He added Potassium was meant to be an access road, not a public road. He .stated this proposal has a road going through the wetlands. Chairperson Nixt indicated he would note the concern again, but cannot answer the question. He asked ii' there was wetland mitigation taking place. Associ~te Planner Watd indicated they will have to go to LRRWMO, who will have to approve i:he grading and drainage plan. IVh-. Wyshalt indicated there are seven or eight deviations to this project, and he does not know why this would be allowed.
