Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #05-04-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING GRANT FROM STATE OF MINNESOTA FOR <br />CONSTRUCTION OF PARK AND RIDE FACILITY IN THE AMOUNT OF $420,000 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has applied to the State of Minnesota for a grant to <br />assist in constructing a park and ride facility in Ramsey Town Center; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, construction of the parking ramp with park and ride facilities is slated for <br />June 2005; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the grant has been approved in the amount of $420,000 under federal <br />project number MN-03-0060-01; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the grant funding must be transferred from the state to the city before <br />December 31, 2005. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br /> The City Council authorizes accepting the federal project number MN-03-0069-01 grant in <br /> the amount of $420,000. <br /> <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this 12th day of April, 2005. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br />-336- <br /> <br /> <br />
