CITY COUNCIL WORKSHOP <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramscy City Council conducted a Workshop Meeting on Tuesday, April 19, 2005 at 7:30 <br />p.m. at the Ramsey Fire Station Number I, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Todd Cook <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Mary Jo Olson <br />Councilmember A1 Pearson <br /> <br />Mere bets Absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Director of Public Works/Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />Assistant Director of Public Works Brian Olson <br />IT Manager Dean Busch <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />Street Supervisor Grant Reimer <br /> <br />CAI3, TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the workshop to order at 7:20 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> <br />Train Whistle Noise Ordinance (2/28/05) <br /> <br />Removed fi'om agenda. <br /> <br />2) RTC Development Projects <br /> <br />John I:eges from RTC handed out a colored map of the development project in the Town Center. <br />I le stated that the development agreement is completed and that the infrastructure is in, and it is <br />now ready to be built. He explained the project phases and housing numbers. He..stated they are <br />also working with a hotel, civic center, and potentially a performing arts. He stated they are <br />working on fitness and what that would encompass for the community.
