Furthermore, the City of Ramsey also requests that the capital <br />improvements they are making on behalf of this station be reimbursed to them if and <br />when additional federal or state funds are available. <br /> <br />Background <br />The NCDA completed a study dated April 4, 2004, at the request of the City of Ramsey, <br />to review the technical merit of adding an additional station to the Northstar Commuter <br />Rail project located at the Ramsey Town Center project. Findings of this report were as <br />follows: <br /> <br />The CEi improved from $24.72 down to $24.48 (based on limited capital costs for <br />the station area as described in the study in Chapter 5, page 5-2). <br />The Ramsey Town Center station would produce an additional 130 riders. <br /> <br />Since this study was Completed, the city of Ramsey has moved forward with the <br />development of Ramsey Town Center and has broken ground on numerous housing and <br />commercial projects. Included in these projects are the following improvements, that will <br />directly benefit the Northstar Commuter Rail .Project: <br /> <br />1. The City has acquired and taken title to 4.66 acres'of land, valued at $~723,381, <br /> for: <br />· Public parking facilities and park and'ride use <br /> <br /> <br />
