NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />1)That the Ramsey City Council accepts the CARES Act funding distribution of $2,038,029 <br />through the State of Minnesota certifying that they will honor the commitments as outlined <br />within the Certification and adhere to the Federal Single Audit guidelines as well as <br />guidelines listed under the CARES Act and Social Security Act Section 601. <br /> <br /> <br />2)The Ramsey City Council authorizes the Ramsey City Administrator to develop a process <br />for honoring the commitments to the State of Minnesota and allocating the CARES Act <br />funds into two broad categories that include: Local Government and Economic Recovery. <br />Initial allocations into each category shall be established by Resolution with the ability to <br />adjust the allocations across the categories, as needed, by further Resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Riley, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Menth <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> Existing Vacancy <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />th <br />the 28 day of July 2020. <br /> <br /> <br /> Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br />Resolution #20-157 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br /> <br />
