He stated he was disappointed with what has happened in there <br />at~ ~d thc changes that have been made without the Park Commission's knowledge. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamac stated, the parks are very important to the community. He stated they need to <br />oontinuc to Focus on all of the parks in the City. Even with Town Center going in, they cannot <br />l'orgct tl~e other parks. <br /> <br />Chah])crson Johns thought the key items were being met in Town Center parks but there have <br /> some changes that they were surprised about. <br /> <br />Commissioner Shiyock thought they were doing a good job on keeping a good eye on the parks <br />i~ the City and where the money needs to go and what needs to be improved. She also thought it <br />w~s great that Health Quest is interested in a Cormnunity Center and she thought they needed to <br />create ',2 partnership with someone to get one in because other communities in the area will <br />depend on it also. <br /> <br />Commissioner Shryock thought they needed to come up with a name for the "Swoosh" area. <br /> <br />Civil Engineer II Linton stated they received some information for South and East parks in Town <br />Center but thc drawings are not finished yet. The Attorney is working on some issues. <br /> <br />Cormcil member A1 Pierson stated he liked the commenfs on what is happening in Town Center. <br />[3ie stated if they have a park issue; please bring them forward to the Council.
