Douglas -Kerr <br />Underground, LLC <br />$3,259,105.52 <br />$37,840.00 <br />$-7,350.20 <br />$3,289,595.32 <br />Engineer's Estimate <br />$3, 334, 738.00 <br />$40, 000.00 <br />$50,115.00 <br />$3, 424, 853.00 <br />WHEREAS, the bid of Park Construction Company of Minneapolis, Minnesota, in the <br />amount of $2,811,859.49 for the total bid for construction of said improvements in accordance <br />with the approved plans and specifications and advertisement for bids, is the lowest responsible <br />bidder, regardless of whether Alternate Bid A and/or Alternate Bid B are awarded in addition to <br />the base bid, and their bid shall be and hereby is accepted. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with said bidder for the construction of said improvements for and on behalf of <br />the City of Ramsey. <br />2) The City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all <br />bidders the deposits made with their bids at such time that a contract has been executed. <br />3) The City Administrator is hereby authorized to execute the proposal from Hakanson <br />Anderson to provide construction staking for siad improvements in a total not -to -exceed <br />amount of $26,480. <br />The motion of the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 9th day of June, 2020. <br />ATTEST: <br />City Clerk <br />Resolution #20-124 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />Mayor <br />
