CiW of Ramsey Municipal Center <br />Project No. 060229 <br /> <br />Agency Construction Management <br /> Levels of Authority <br /> <br />Facilities Committee Responsibilities include: <br /> * Public relations. <br /> ~ Provide direction to project consultants. <br /> o Review of project budget. <br /> o Set priorities for project scope changes within set budget. <br /> ~ Recommendation of project expenditures (construction, furnishings and equipment) within <br /> project budget and set limits. <br /> ~ Recommendation of overall departmental and occupant layouts, adjacencies, plans, elevations, <br /> etc. <br /> ~ Recommendation of the overall building structure and site layout. <br /> o Recommendation of interior and exterior building finishes. <br /> ~ Recommendation for approval at the end of each of the following design phases provided the <br /> design is within the overall project budget approved by the City Council. <br /> o Schematic Design <br /> o Design Development <br /> o Construction Documents <br /> * Review and recommend contract awards to the City Council. <br /> * Monitor construction progress. <br /> ~ Review running list of change orders on a monthly basis. <br /> ~ Approval of change orders in excess of$IO, O00 and less than $25,000. The facilities committee. <br /> would provide approved changes to council for council consent agenda approval during the <br /> construction phase. <br /> <br />~roi_ect Team <br /> <br />The project team is made ap of the following parties: <br /> Jim Norman, City Administrator <br /> Heidi Nelson, Assistant City Administrator <br /> BKV Group <br /> 3D/I <br /> <br />will lead and minute Project Team meetings. <br /> <br />esponsibitities include: <br /> Adnfinistration of project functions. <br /> Approval of discussion items and decisions of the user groups. <br /> Recommendation of project expenditures (construction~ furnishings and equipment) within <br /> project budget and set limits. <br /> Approval of change order up to $1 O, 000. Approval of change order is by Jim Norman and Heidi <br /> Nelson.
