Case//2: <br /> <br />Public Hearing to Consider Execution of Business Subsidy Agreement with <br />Oidcastle Precast, Inc. (Amcon) <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec closed the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 8:20 p.m. in order to <br />conduct a public hearing. <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the public hearing to order at 8:20 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman stated that the public hearing should be continued to the January 23, <br />2001, Council meeting. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />There was none. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman, seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen, to continue <br />the public hearing to 7:00 p.m. on January 23, 2001. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Hendriksen, <br />Anderson, and Kurak. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #3: Request for Site Plan Review ofT & G Land, Inc.; Case of Tom Sauter <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik stated that the City of Ramsey has received a request <br />for a site plan review from T & G Land, Inc. The site plan is proposing to construct an <br />office/warehouse facility and a metal panel warehouse accessory structure on 11.24 acres. The <br />site is also proposing to facilitate off-street parking of trucks and equipment. The area is <br />generally located to the west of C.R. #116 and north of 141~t Avenue in the proposed Gateway <br />North Industrial Park No. 5. The proposed site plant is a result of a negotiated settlement <br />between the City and Mr. Sauter in a recent land swap agreement for Mr. Sauter's current <br />business site located west of Sunfish Lake Boulevard. The City will be moving T & G Land, <br />Inc. into the Gateway North Industrial Park No. 5 and will initiate a redevelopment project on the <br />property located west of Sunfish Lake Boulevard. The site is zoned B-W <br />(Business/Warehousing), office and warehousing facilities and off-street parking of trucks and <br />equipment are permitted uses. The site plan is proposing to construct a 39,936 square foot <br />office/warehouse structure with a possible 15,360 square foot future addition. The site plan is <br />also proposing to construct a 20,000 square foot metal panel warehouse building that will not be <br />heated and will be used for cold storage.
