interim use permit, changing the term/nation date to December 31, 2001 and requiring that the
screening be in place on or before September 30, 2001.

Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec,
Hendriksen, and Kurak. Voting No: None.

Councilmembers Zimmerman,

Anderson,

Case #12: Revised Site Plan ofT & G Land, Inc.; Case of Tom Santer

Community Development Director Frolik stated that on January 9, 2001, the City approved a site
plan by T & G Land, Inc. proposing to construct an office/warehouse facility and a metal panel
warehouse accessory structure on 11.24 acres. Subsequent to the City Council meeting, the City
received a revised site plan from T & G Land, Inc. The area is generally located to the west of
County Road #116 and north of 141st Avenue in the proposed Gateway North Industrial Park No.
5. The site plan that was approved by the City Council on January 9, 2001, proposed to construct
a 39,936 square foot office/warehouse structure and a 20,000 square foot metal panel warehouse
building. The revised site plan is proposing to construct a 54,336 square foot office/warehouse
principal building. This is approximately a 14,400 square foot (120' x 120') increase in size
from the recently approved site plan. The metal panel accessory building will remain 20,000
square feet in size. The Business Warehousing district restricts lot coverage to 35 percent, the
site plan is proposing to construct a total of 74,336 square feet of building space on 11.24 acres,
which equates to approximately a 15 percent lot coverage. This meets City Code standards. City
Code states that accessory structures shall not exceed 30 percent of the gross floor space of the
principal building. The accessory building equates to approximately 37 percent of the gross floor
space. The previously approved site plan allowed the accessory building to be 50 percent of the
gross floor space of the principal building.

Motion by Mayor Gamec, seconded by Councilmember Kurak, to approve the revised site plan
for T & G Land, Inc. contingent upon compliance with City staff review letter dated January 19,
2001.

Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Kurak, Anderson, Hendriksen,
and Zimmerman. Voting No: None.

Case #13:

Consider Petition Regarding Improvement Project #99-67 (Mississippi River
Stormwater Subdrainage District No. 1)

City Engineer Jankowski stated that on January 9, 2001, a petition was presented to the City
Council requesting that the City not construct the storm sewer project and drop the eminent
domain action acquiring drainage easements along the border of their properties with the railroad
to facilitate this storm sewer. Mr. Jankowski reviewed a brief history of the project.

Ellen Dillon, 6255 Highway #10, Ramsey, presented the Council with an aerial map as well as
photographs indicating the trees that will have to be removed if the sewer system goes through
their property.

City Council/January 23, 2001
