Prospective employers <br />want to know that they will l~e able to draw upon a workforce that will <br />supply their present and future employment needs. The Minnesota <br />Labor Shed Analysis Tool offers communities a new resource in helping <br />them understand their local and regional labor force..As part ora collab- <br />oration among the U.S. Census Bureau, the'Minnesota Department of <br />Employment and Economic Development and Excensus LLC, this web- <br />based tool allows economic development professionals to understand <br />what communities s~pply the workers that fill Iocal ]obs and in what com- <br />munities local residents are employed.
