M iscclla~cous: <br /> <br />/Vlatc Building: Currently the City is involved in negotiations with Kilkenny, LLC which is <br />looking a.t purchasing the Mate building. The company has the potential to bring 125 jobs and <br />utilize ih.e exiting structure in its current state. The City is proposing to issue Industrial Revenue <br />Bonds lk)r the project and the Council will discuss that decision at the May 24th Council Meeting. <br /> <br />Debce Property: The City Purchased the Debee property for $170,000 on April 6, 2005. The <br />property owner has done an outstanding job of removing the equipment and debris form the site <br />and it appears as if he will have it gone prior to the 90 day deadline. It is important to note that <br />Robert I)chee has be wonderfnl to work with on this transaction. Staff will begin to look for a <br />tJscr fi)r this site and hopefully get started on construction on 2005. <br /> <br />Amoco Pro~: Staff.' and the City Attorney have been in contact with counsel for Amoco. The <br />;;ouncil has signed a purchase agreement with BP Products. The due diligence period now <br />begins and the City will be doing additional environmental analysis. The closing will occur in <br /> it' there are no significant problems with the environmental. <br /> <br />/'~dollkon-t'eterson: The city is currently negotiating with Adolfson-Peterson to purchase Right- <br />o lkWay associated with the extension of Bunker Lake Boulevard. <br /> <br />Future ikleeting Topics: 1.
