Council member introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION # <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING REJECTION OF BIDS IN DIVISION RM-1072- <br /> METAL ROOFING AND AUTHORIZING 3D/I TO RE-BID DIVISION RM-1072 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council authorized bidding for the new Ramsey <br />Municipal Center on March 22nd, 2005; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the bid period began on April 8thi 2005 and the bid date waS May 5th, 2005 <br />with 14l contractors bidding on the 27 bid divisions; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff is recommending, along with 3D/I and BKV Group, to reject all bids <br />in division RM-1072 Metal Roofing and re-bid division Rm-1072 Metal_Roofing. <br /> <br /> VOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />IiAMS}iY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> That the City Council of the City of Ramsey authorizes the rejection of all bids in <br /> division RM-1072 Metal Roofing and authorizes 3D/I to re-bid division RM-1072 <br /> Metal Roofing. <br /> <br />Thc morton for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the li~llowing voted against the same: <br />and the t'ollowing abstained: <br />and d~e fi3llowing were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 24th day of May 2005. <br /> <br />-215- <br /> <br /> <br />
