Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION # <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION WAIVING BUILDING PERMIT AND pLAN REVIEW FEE <br /> FOR NEW RAMSEY MUNICIPAL CENTER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council authorized bidding for the new Ramsey <br /> Municipal Center on March 22nd, 2005; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the bid period began on APril 8th, 2005 and the bid date was May 5th, 2005 <br /> with 141 contractors bidding on the 27 bid divisions; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a building permit has been applied for and plan review has commenced for <br />the project; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, building permit and plan review fees are general fund revenues which <br />would represent the city paying itself for these fees. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey waives the building permit fee in the <br /> amount of $50,196.75 and the plan review fee in the amount of $32,627.89. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereofi <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />.this the 24th day of May 2005. <br /> <br />-216- <br /> <br /> <br />
