Councilmember__ introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #05-05-XXX RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #05-23 (EBONY STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS BETWEEN 137TM AVENUE AND RIVERDALE DRIVE) AND CALLING FOR THE PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS WHEREAS, pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey City Council, adopted October 12, 2004, a feasibility study for the 2005 Street Maintenance Program has been prepared by Steve Jankowski, City Engineer, with reference to Improvement Project #05-23; and WHEREAS, a resolution of City Council adopted on February 8, 2005 fixed a date for a Council hearing on the proposed improvement of Ebony Street from 137th Avenue to Riverdale Drive; and '~ WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks published notice of the hearing was given, and the public hearing was held thereon on the 22nd day of March, 2005, at which all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible as detailed in the feasibility study report. 2) That such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in this Council resolution. 3) That the City Engineer is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. 4) That the engineer shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereofi and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: -270- RESOLUTION #05-05-XXX Page 1 Of 2
