APPROVE AMENDMENTS TO QUAD CITIES CABLE COMMISSION <br />JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT <br /> By: ltcidi A. Nelson, Asst. City Administrator <br /> <br /> Over the past several months, the Quad Cities Cable Commission has been inthe process of <br />revising thc Joint Powers Agreement that exists between the cities of Ramsey, Anoka, Andover, and <br />Ci~amplin creating the Quad Cities Cable Commission. The proposed amendments to the JPA <br />represent mainly house-keeping revisions with regard to the current operations of the Commission and <br />O(.YlV as well as the structure of the Board of Commissioners. Quad Cities Cable Commission <br />Attorney Steve Guzzetta has prepared and reviewed the proposed revisions and the Commission has <br />iai<eh action to approve the amendments as stated in the attached Joint Powers Agreement document. <br />~[he Qu[~d (;ities Cable Commission is requesting City Council approval of the proposed amendments <br />fi'om each o[~ thc four member cities.
