Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION # <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO QUAD CITIES CABLE <br /> COMMISSION JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Quad Cities Cable Commission has reviewed and proposed <br /> amendments to the Joint Powers Agreement between the cities of Ramsey, Anoka, <br /> Andover, Champlin creating the Quad Cities Cable Commission; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the review of the Joint Powers Agreement is necessary from time to <br /> time to ensure the Agreement reflects the proper operation of the Commission; and <br /> <br /> WHERAS, the Quad Cities Cable Commission Attorney Steve Guzzetta has <br />prepared and reviewed the proposed amendments; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Quad Cities Cable Commission has approved the proposed <br /> amendments and is requesting approval from each of the four member cities. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey approves the amendments to the <br /> Joint Powers Agreement between the cities of Ramsey, Anoka, Andover, and <br /> Champlin creating the Quad Cities Cable Commission as submitted to the <br /> Ramsey City Council on May 24th, 2005. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />'and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 24th of May, 2005. <br /> <br />-38- <br /> <br /> <br />
