road access and master planning there may be property available for a treatment center. Assistant <br />Public Works Director Olson explained staff has a proposal to start the planning of Well 7 and <br />Well 8. Well 7 was planned with a temporary structure that would eventually be replaced with a <br />water treatment facility. He explained the comprehensive water plan includes the cost of the <br />water facility and how it would be financed. <br /> <br />Pubfic Works' Director Kapler indicated the plan will be amended to include water treatment <br />facifities planning. <br /> <br />Parks Work Plan: <br />Assistant Public Works Director Olson noted the inclusion of planning for an additional <br />community park north of Trott Brook. Chairperson Elvig suggested this be forwarded to the <br />Park Board to provide their input. <br /> <br />Assistant Public Works Director Olson noted the inclusion of assisting with the development of <br />the Lions park building. Public Works Director Kapler indicated the Lions are at the beginning <br />stages of this process. The Lions have expressed their preference would be to locate the building <br />at Central Park. He would ask that staff have more time to work with the Lions on this. He <br />suggested they may want to organize a Lions meeting at Elmcrest Park, as he does not think many <br />of the Lions have visited this park. Chairperson Elvig suggested City officials also attend this <br />meeting. Chairperson Elvig suggested the Park Board be asked to evaluate where the best <br />location would be for the Lions building. He requested that a specification of the intentions of the <br />building be forwarded to the Park Board.
