PROJECT MANAGER — Richard Thompson,AI CP Senior Municipal Planner/Project Manager — Mr.Thompson will lead the Project Team,providing coordination and project management between the many groups involved in the planning process, working closely with the City — throughout the Project. The City will benefit from Mr.Thompson's 35 years of experience in planning, including 12 years at the Metropolitan Council, where he oversaw the local ▪ comprehensive plan review process. In addition to his knowledge of regional planning ▪ in the Twin Cities, Mr. Thompson will provide the City with innovative planning methods supporting the City's vision, goals, and objectives for updating the Comprehensive — Plan. — As the Project Manager for the Ramsey Comprehensive Plan Update, Mr. Thompson will be the City's primary point of contact. He will work with City staff and officials, direct — team members in their research and analysis, and will oversee the development of all Plan elements. PROJECT TEAM MEMBERS Mark Kaltsas, MK Land Design, Planner PROJECT TEAM — Mr. Kaltsas will subcontract with TKDA to provide a design perspective in relation to Qualifications of Personnel elements of the comprehensive plan. As a design professional, he can translate the City's '-' vision and goals into guidelines and policies that will make clear the intentions of the City and neighborhoods to prospective developers and other business interests. His many years in planning will make him a valuable member of the team at public meetings. Steve Elmer, AICP, Senior Transportation Planner — Mr. Elmer is a Senior Transportation Planner in TKDA's Surface Transportation Division. His 14 years in the planning field have encompassed jobs in both the public and private sectors. He has experience in many facets of planning including project management, rail — corridor studies, traffic planning and analysis, comprehensive plans, bicycle/pedestrian planning, transit planning, environmental impact assessment, transportation policy development, public consensus building, and workshop facilitation. -- Mr. Elmer will direct the development of the transportation element of the Plan. He will conduct an existing conditions analysis, forecast 2030 traffic volumes, identify future transportation system needs, and develop the Transportation Plan. — Joe Weaver, P.E., Transportation Mr. Weaver has 20 years of engineering experience. His experience encompasses project management and project engineering for both private site and public roadway —� developments.
