City of Ramsey 2008 Comprehensive Plan Update Proposal Bonestroo Phase 4: Final Plan 4.1: City Council Meeting — Final Plan We will attend a City Council meeting for adoption of the plan, contingent on Metropolitan Council review. 4.2: Metropolitan Council Submission We will prepare the necessary forms and materials to submit the plan for review by the Metropolitan Council. 4.3: Metropolitan Council staff meeting We will meet with Met Council staff to review the plan materials and discuss pertinent issues or revisions. 4.4: Metropolitan Council Development Review Committee meeting We will attend the Met Council Development Review Committee meeting on behalf of the City to gain approval of the plan. 4.5: Metropolitan Council Meeting — Final Plan We will attend a Met Council meeting for final plan approval. 4.6: City Council Meeting — Final Approved Plan We will attend a City Council meeting for final adoption of the plan, after Metropolitan Council approval. 4.7: Prepare Final Plan Document Based on the City Council's final approval we will prepare paper and electronic copies of the Final Plan as requested in the RFP. ■ Potential Conflicts of Interest It is our policy at DSU/Bonestroo to not do private consulting work in communities where we are working for the community. If we are selected to work on the Ramsey Comprehensive Plan, we would honor that policy. DSU has been assisting Joe and Maude Nathe with some long range planning associated with their land located on the Mississippi River, due south of the Ramsey Town Center area. We believe the successful completion of the planning for the Nathe property is in the mutual interest of the City of Ramsey and the landowner. We are uniquely qualified to propose, creative, fair and equitable solutions to the complicated issues associated with the future of this site. We also believe that there are ways in which the schedule of these respective projects could be coordinated to avoid a conflict. 17
