City of Ramsey <br />2008 Comprehensive Plan Update <br />Proposal <br />Bonestroo <br />Phase 4: Final Plan <br />4.1: City Council Meeting — Final Plan <br />We will attend a City Council meeting for adoption of the plan, contingent on Metropolitan Council review. <br />4.2: Metropolitan Council Submission <br />We will prepare the necessary forms and materials to submit the plan for review by the Metropolitan Council. <br />4.3: Metropolitan Council staff meeting <br />We will meet with Met Council staff to review the plan materials and discuss pertinent issues or revisions. <br />4.4: Metropolitan Council Development Review Committee meeting <br />We will attend the Met Council Development Review Committee meeting on behalf of the City to gain approval <br />of the plan. <br />4.5: Metropolitan Council Meeting — Final Plan <br />We will attend a Met Council meeting for final plan approval. <br />4.6: City Council Meeting — Final Approved Plan <br />We will attend a City Council meeting for final adoption of the plan, after Metropolitan Council approval. <br />4.7: Prepare Final Plan Document <br />Based on the City Council's final approval we will prepare paper and electronic copies of the Final Plan as <br />requested in the RFP. <br />■ Potential Conflicts of Interest <br />It is our policy at DSU/Bonestroo to not do private consulting work in communities where we are working for <br />the community. If we are selected to work on the Ramsey Comprehensive Plan, we would honor that policy. <br />DSU has been assisting Joe and Maude Nathe with some long range planning associated with their land <br />located on the Mississippi River, due south of the Ramsey Town Center area. We believe the successful <br />completion of the planning for the Nathe property is in the mutual interest of the City of Ramsey <br />and the landowner. We are uniquely qualified to propose, creative, fair and equitable solutions to the <br />complicated issues associated with the future of this site. We also believe that there are ways in which the <br />schedule of these respective projects could be coordinated to avoid a conflict. <br />17 <br />
