Project Team Kristina Smitten Metropolitan Council Liaison — Kristina came to McCombs Frank Roos from the Twin Cities Metropolitan Council where she worked in comprehensive planning and the Mississippi River Critical Area and MNRRA programs. Kristina is an authority on those programs and retains a close — working relationship with Council staff. Doug Mensing Natural Resources Protection Planning Doug Mensing has 15 years of experience in the ecological assessment and resource — management. His is skilled in using primary and secondary information sources to map and communicate a community's pattern of natural resources and to rank them in priority. He has worked with land use planners to apply that knowledge as a basis for land use plans and policies. A recent example of such collaboration is the Chisago City Comprehensive Plan. Doug expects to submit a separate proposal to conduct the natural resources assessment and would be available as part of our team to interpret and help apply those findings to the land use plan whether or not he performs the initial assessment. Rick Seifert, PE Utilities Systems -- Rick is a professional engineer with twelve years of experience in municipal engineering. '—' His experience includes sanitary sewer systems,water systems, local roadways and surfacewater drainage. Richard's strength is communicating the impacts from various engineering design options to city officials in a manner that aids in the overall decision-making process. His role will be similar to that of Doug Mensing,a technical resources in all matters pertaining to sanitary sewer and water systems. — Adam Parker Surfacewater Management — — Adam has 13 years experience in surfacewater management and planning.
