Related Experience Since development of the program,the City of Minnetonka has implemented ecological management activities within their parks, often utilizing AES' consulting and contracting — services. Avon Hills Conservation Planning Initiative Applied Ecological Services,Inc. With sponsorship from St. John's University and The Nature Conservancy,Applied Ecological Services, Inc. (AES)accumulated ecological data on the study area, created informative GIS-based maps, and facilitated open public meetings to present data and refine stakeholders' vision for the Avon Hills area. After an initial public meeting and field tour in Fall 2003,AES — analyzed natural features such as sensitive species,high- quality habitats,natural vegetation and steep slopes.
