Based on the date that those plans were last <br /> updated,note the changes in State regulations regarding the Critical Area. <br /> • Solar Access: local regulations. <br /> 1.7 Transportation Analysis -^ <br /> Roadways <br /> Prepare an analysis that meets the requirements of the Metropolitan Council and <br /> the needs of the City of Ramsey. Analyze auto,transit,bicycle and pedestrian <br /> transportation with emphasis on the needs for new roadways in the developing — <br /> perimeter of the community. The MFRA team will coordinate with City, County <br /> and Metropolitan Council staff. <br /> Existing Plans: Review the prior transportation plan to identify already defined <br /> issues and solutions. Review the regional 2030 Transportation Policy Plan as it <br /> applies to Ramsey. — <br /> Existing Network: Analyze the existing roadway network for issues of — <br /> continuity, interconnectedness,capacity and safety. <br /> Functional Classification: Prepare maps of the functional and jurisdictional — <br /> classification of roads. The functional class system will be consistent with the <br /> regional system.Define the functional classes in a table. For each of the — <br /> Principal and A-Minor Arterials,the map will show:• Existing and proposed number of lanes <br /> • Current daily traffic counts according to the MnDOT traffic volume maps — <br /> • Forecasted 2030 traffic volumes from the Met Council. <br /> Traffic Analysis Zones: Prepare a map of the regional traffic analysis zones. — <br /> Planned Improvements: Describe planned improvements to the metropolitan — <br /> highway system listed in Tables 4-9 and 4-10 of the Metropolitan Council <br /> Transportation Policy Plan as they affect the City of Ramsey. <br /> Safety: Identify major roadway safety problems by consulting with the City <br /> Public Works Director,the City Police Department and the County <br /> Transportation Department. — <br /> Transit and Para-Transit <br /> Describe existing transit routes and paratransit service.
