<br />CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, August 25, 2020, at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: Mayor John LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Mark Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Jeff Menth <br /> Councilmember Debra Musgrove <br />Councilmember Chris Riley <br />Councilmember Dan Specht <br /> <br />Members Absent: None <br /> <br />Also Present: City Administrator Kurtis Ulrich <br />Police Chief Jeff Katers <br /> Parks and Assistant Public Works Superintendent Mark Riverblood <br /> Public Works Superintendent Grant Riemer <br />City Engineer Bruce Westby <br />Senior Planner Chloe McGuire Brigl <br /> Recreation Specialist Abby Proulx <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor LeTourneau called the regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council to order at 7:04 p.m., <br />followed by the Pledge of Allegiance led by Mayor LeTourneau. <br />2. PRESENTATION <br /> <br />None. <br />3. CITIZEN INPUT <br />3.01: Update Regarding Happy Daze Events <br /> <br />Recreation Specialist Proulx reported that Happy Daze events will take the place of the formal <br />Happy Days event. She stated that the events will be family friendly and held over the weekend <br />thth <br />of September 11 through the 13. She highlighted the different events that will take place and <br />the COVID-19 precautions that will be taken. She noted that registration will be required for all <br />events and can be done through the City website to ensure that the total number of residents does <br />not exceed the recommended capacity. <br /> <br />Councilmember Musgrove asked about hosting a series of events in the midst of a pandemic. <br />City Council / August 25, 2020 <br />Page 2 of 9 <br /> <br />
